Who is Carmen Brown?
For the pass twenty (20) years I have been an
art teacher who has enriched student's lives accomplishing a goal (a
Love of Art)
My own personal creativity, knowledge and teaching
ability combine to produce student work that is totally reflective of
my deep seeded interest and desire to develop them at their best in
the culture of art and all that relates to their educational growing
aspects. The extraordinary respect, dedication and commitment to my
pupils, is and will be my goal as leading them into a better world.
. I have a strong bilingual background that has
support my knowledge and teaching throw the years.
. The Dr. Betty Edwards's art techniques; of
Drawing with the right side of the brain have supported my teaching
methods, by helping students tap into their full creative potential.
. I have led basic, intermediated and
advanced drawing, painting, ceramics and mix media classes.
. I contributed collaboratively to committees
and extracurricular events designing themes, stories, dances, and
plays for art and school activities.
. I believe in the enhancement and motivation
of progressive learning by inviting artists shaped in different media
to participate in seminars and workshops for the students.
. Actually I am finishing my Masters Degree.

OF PUERTO RICO, Rio Piedras Campus, San Juan, PR BA Fine Arts.
Teacher Education Program from
the; INTER AMERICAN UNIVERSITY OF PUERTO RICO.
Teacher Certifications:
Puerto Rico's Department of
Education, Certification in Elementary Teaching, Certification for
life, teaching ART.
State of Florida's Department
of Education, Certification of Professional Educator in Art.
